Mastermind Management: Visualize Success

Are you struggling with your position on the food chain? Are you a guppy in a minnow world? Or do you have bigger aspirations?

If your career doesnt make you sing in the shower, what are you doing there?

Visualization takes you where you want to be faster than any other form of manifestation. But few practice visualizing success as part of their daily lives. The answer could be found in the how? because many people simply do not understand how to visualize success into a state of being.

The process is quite simple and Ill guide you through it in a few KISS steps.

1. Relax

Get comfy and close your eyes. (Okay, stop the car, you goof!) Imagine yourself in a comfortable place with the surroundings of your choice. (Okay, stinker, the skunk has got to go!)

2. Think of the weather.

Are you outside? Is it warm? Do you feel the sun on your face? Cool breezes? Perhaps your ideal Success is in a high-rise office? Consider it swaying gently in the winds, and you feeling the tower correct as you lean back in your leather office chair, basking in the cool flickering glow of long florescent bulbs hanging from your suspended ceiling.

3. Think of the drink available on your desk.

A utilitarian mug of Institutional Coffee, or a Starbucks Caramel Cappuccino in a tall paper cup might do? Perhaps theres a cookie on a napkin beside it for your mid-morning snack. Of course a Mai-tai on the balcony would be better, but you dont want to be whooshed off in the wind!

4. How do you feel right now?

Dig deep and imagine how youre feeling at this moment. Do you have a smile on your face? Have you slipped your feet out of your shoes? Are you content and happy? Do you feel the success surrounding you?

5. Concentrate on that feeling a moment.

Hold onto that exuberance and let it soak into your heart. Feel the enthusiasm of the moment and accept it into your life. Hold onto the aroma, the visualization, and the feelings and allow them to absorb you.

6. Slowly open your eyes and look around.

Imagine your visualization continues and accept the reality of them replacing what is currently there in front of you. Understand that your visualization exists and continue to support your emotional connection with the Visualization by connecting real items with your vision. Move your vision forward by accepting the time laps and watching it evolve before your eyes.

7. Understand the feelings you have in your Visualization and incorporate the joy and appreciation into your life every day.

Motivate yourself further ahead with gratitude and joy, appreciating every moment of life and living in the moment as you step toward your goal. The visualization will begin to emerge as surely as your coffee grows cold.

Mastermind Management brings your future home with Visual Success. Dont stop visualizing until you reach your ultimate goal. Consistently raise the level of success to keep your goals moving forward.

Jan Verhoeff

Somewhere between college and life, Jan began to focus on other people. Her intense need to feel accomplishment in her life drove her to finding a deeper contentment than just existing in the hoot 'n holler of southeastern Colorado. While the beauty of the prairie never escaped her eye for color and beauty, the intensity of her desire kept her moving ever onward.

Summers in Michigan and Tennessee brought her closer to something, but it wasn't until much later, as an adult, mother of four that she began to understand that her need for accomplishment included sharing what she had learned along the way. It also meant that her talent for painting the dream and writing her thoughts had a lot to do with her accomplishments.

She began to focus on actually writing down her thoughts and ideas in journals, revealing her prayer thoughts and life events. Bits of paper became treasures of memory, and a notebook became an outlet of hope and a step of faith. Jan put her thoughts on paper, and began to publish them, where she found opportunity, including various magazines, trade journals, and local publications. Her interests in business and new enterprise became a resounding outlet for her talent, and wisdom for those who sought it. Jan's interest in business development became her trademark, resulting in her first book publication in !992, "Building a Business: From Scratch". This 22 page booklet was published by a local printer in a vertical brochure format, selling more than a thousand copies nation wide. It has resurfaced in college classes as the basis for college term papers, graduate thesis, and research documents for small business courses over the past 13 years.

Seeking more diverse outlets for her talents, Jan most recently has written several short stories published in various books, including: "Stories for the Trail" with the Lamar Writer's Group, "Prickly Points of Life" a combination poetry/short story collection of Jan's work, and "Coffee Clatter" a bound collection of written works originally published in a newsletter published by her daughter, Brenna, as a Sophomore Year Project when she was homeschooling at Buchanan Academy.

More recently her work is available in a newsletter she publishes weekly via email, and various blogs listed on the right side of this page.
