Meopause

Menopause is a naturally-occurring part of life for a woman, and it occurs when the ovaries stop producing estrogen and progesterone, two essential hormones that make-up a womans reproductive ability, thus ending her menstrual cycle. It usually occurs between the ages of 40 and 58 (the average age is 51). Though rare, menopause can also occur as early as the 30s or as late as the 60s.

The aforementioned symptoms are tell-tale signs of menopause, and they can last for months, sometimes years.

As with most changes in life, menopause comes in stages. The first stage is dubbed as pre-menopause, where a womans period cycle has become erratic, but she has not yet experienced many other symptoms of menopause. The second stage, peri-menopause, is when menopauses beginning classic symptoms are all around (as the prefix peri indicates), like hot flashes and significant irregularities in her period cycle. The actual menopause stage is next, which refers to a womans last menstrual cycle. Lastly, post-menopause kicks in when a woman has not had her period for at least a year. After this, of course, women are postmenopausal for the remainder of their lives.

While the prefix post typifies the end, menopause symptoms never actually end. In fact, some women put themselves through a number of therapies to alleviate symptoms like acupuncture, aromatherapy and Shiatsu.

The electronic manual will tell you about these therapies and several more on just how effective they are. In addition to that, the electronic manual will give you hordes of information designed specifically for menopausal women and how best to treat the symptoms that accompany it. For instance, youll find out how to get rid of hot flashes and night sweats, tips on how to sleep as soundly as you used to, how fat-soluble vitamins affect your body, why menopause happens in the first place, the secret benefits of beans in a womans diet and much, much more.
